We just spent our second 4th of July in Texas, which was the exact opposite of last year (last year--cool and rainy, this year--hot and dry). We had some friends from church over for a BBQ, and then did some fireworks and watched a couple of firework displays we could see over the trees. Here are a few pics.

Joey needed help to do his sparkler so he wouldn't injure himself. Jake did the most sparklers and had the most fun with them, but I didn't get a good picture of him.
