I Saw the Corbett Boys Talking to Santa Claus

The boys had two chances to talk to Santa this weekend--once at J.D.'s school Winter Fair and once at our ward party. I was selling tickets at the Winter Fair, so Jim had to take the boys around by himself. He didn't even attempt trying to have Joey see Santa, but Joey did have fun playing in the duck pond (or "quack quack" pond as he would call it).

J.D. and Jake did enjoy telling Santa what they wanted and getting a candy cane.

At the ward party the next night, J.D. played the role of a singing sheep in the nativity.

While we were waiting in line for the kids to visit with Santa, Jim found a place he could leave Joey.

The boys then took turns sitting on Santa's lap to tell him what they wanted and get a candy cane. First, J.D.:

Then Jake:

And finally, Joey (he was excited about the candy cane, but didn't want much to do with Santa):

It was a fun weekend to help us get ready for Christmas!
