More Fun with Grandma, Grandpa, & Megan

While Grandma and Grandpa and Megan were here, we did a few fun things to get out of the house. J.D. and Jake both had T-ball games so we went to those. Also, we took Joey and Janalynn to Zilker Park to ride the train (sad to say we've lived here 2 1/2 years and finally did that activity for the first time). Joey loved it since he loves trains. I just had to hold onto him for dear life so he didn't try to get off while it was moving.

Janalynn slept on Grandma's lap the whole time.

Megan and Grandpa, just chillin'.

The day Grandma and Megan were flying home was J.D.'s school choir tour. His choir concert was cancelled because of the swine flu (don't even get me started on that), so we wanted the chance to see him sing. We went to Whole Foods, the first stop on the tour, to watch him. I couldn't get a very good picture because he was standing right in the middle behind the choir director.

Here he is eating his snack after the performance before going to the next stop.

Jake and Joey had fun playing in this cart out front before and after the performance. (Joey wouldn't pose for a picture, though).

Finally, right before I took Grandma and Megan to the airport and this lovely incident happened, we had lunch at The Cheesecake Factory.

Thanks for a fun visit Grandma, Grandpa, and Megan, and for all of your help!

I've lived in Austin 10 years and still haven't ridden the train, so you are ahead of me!
